(一)量度原则

学习英语，在相应水平上进行量的积累是必须的，量变才会引起质变。所以大家在平时的学习过程中，可以养成每天或每周定量地去听些相关英语素材，如慢速VOA或最简单地把课本的录音材料播放。当你长期坚持下去的话，定会有意料之外的结果。

(二)重复原则

根据艾宾浩斯记忆曲线来说，人的记忆会在学习之后立即开始，而且遗忘的进程并不是均匀的。最初遗忘速度很快，以后逐渐缓慢。所以记忆越到后期越难被遗忘，因此重复记忆不是多余动作，反而是使人准确、深刻理解事物本质、内在规律，加深对事物的记忆。

考试中，很多人会抱怨没有时间浏览各个题目的选项内容，等到听力开始时，因为不知道到选项内容而变得措手不及。其实这也是有方法的，考试者可以利用对话正式开始之前的阅读题型介绍及例题时间快速浏览选项，这样就能做到心中有数。

对话模式的听力要抓重点

在英语听力考试中，我们遇到最多的就是对话模式的，通常是一男一女的对话，在高级的考试中的对话速度都是非常的快的，那么怎样在对话模式中抓住重点呢?每一段对话或是文章都会有一到两个是主题句，这个中心点无论是在英语考试中还是在英语听力考试中都是不变的。所以主题句的所在可以说是制胜的关键，你可以不理解那段话，只要你理解主题句，就是对话的重点。主题句常常在对话的开头，对整篇对话的大意起到概括和提示的作用，实际上是说话人所谈论的中心话题;长对话的第一题很可能针对对话的开头提问。结尾处往往涉及到建议、决定或某种行为等，它对整个对话起到一个总结的作用。长对话的`最后一题经常是针对对话的结尾设题，故留意结尾回合中的关键动词就成了解题的关键。

掌握特定句型

英美人在向他人提出建议或请求时，往往采用委婉的方式来表达。否定题型在这类题型中，最重要的线索是抓住否定性的关键词。值得注意的是这类题一般都不是以明显的否定方式出现的，所以需考生多加注意。身份及人物关系题型中，在Section A中身份及人物关系的题型几乎每次考试都会出现。考生可以通过抓关键的特征词来判断。四级听力中常见的人物关系有teacher and student, librarian and student, shop assistant and customer, doctor and patient, waiter (waitress) and customer。而地点及场所这类题型在听力对话题中也较简单，考生只需掌握表示地点及方位的介词短语，抓住其中的关键场景特点，就能辨认对话发生的场所。如一听到boarding一词，就想到是机场。数字和时间题型是Section A中最简单的一类，考生只要事先浏览了选项，留意对话中的数字或时间稍经计算和分析，就能答对。所以，考生一定要把握好这类拿分题。

高考英语答题技巧：短文改错

1.考生应先将短文通读两次。第一次可以是快速的，目的是判断其内容(主要情节、人物及其性别等)、体裁，以便对短文作大体的了解，做到心中有数，同时亦可能发现明显的错误；第二次应较细致地通读全文，以了解其主要时态、语态、习惯用法(尤其是动词短语、介词短语以及其他词类的用法等)、文章结构、因果关系等；与此同时，应先确定一些明显的错误，以便疏通短文，化繁为简，为后面解题打开思路，许多问题可在这一阶段得到解决

2.思维能力是一种较高层次的能力。考生的思维首先要着重篇章结构，然后细心、快速地分析每一个句子，因为句子是文章内容的载体

3.智力能力在高考中固然重要，然而，它不是高考成功与否的全部。考生应高度重视非智力能力的培养和训练以及心理素质的培养和提高。做完短文改错题后，一定要重新通读全文，仔细检查所写答案是否符合内容要求，是否一矢中的，是否前后照应，所用改错符号是否与相应要求呼应等。这也是考生不应忽视的

高考英语完形填空答题技巧

1. 依据上下文确定答案的法则：

从近几年的完形填空题看，近义词或近义短语的测试力度逐渐加强，并成为测试热点。四个选项不是词义相近，要不就是近义动词的同 一种时态的现象，或名词的单复数搭配。若选项词义差异很大，必然文章中藏有提示语，正因如此，往往第一个选项有时需要读完全篇短文才能准确回答。

2. 词语语义与强于语法原则：

完型填空题的首句不留空，目的就是告知短文的故事的四要素：地点、时间、人物和事由。再则，单纯语法题已基本退出该题型的测试范 畴，所以，指导学生时，首先要告知他们这类现象。尽管四个选项的词语都符合语法规则，然而该题的解答必须遵循先全面理解篇章语义，再结合正确语言结构对每 个空格作出准确无误的抉择。

3. 解题四步法原则：

第一步：跳读。带着空格通读全文，了解短文大意，判别短文文体，同时能将会做的题及时解决掉。

第二步：选答。这一步最为关键，要求考生对每一道题进行认真推敲，但是要告诫他们万万不可按照题的顺序答题，对那些不能拿不准的题先跳过去，遵循先易后难的解题原则。

第三步：推敲。这实际上就是要求考生对完形填空短文的篇章作通盘考虑，把其中一些需要依据上下文语境来考虑的比较难解答的题，以及句子之间和段落之间的逻辑关联较强的认真推敲，甄别，筛选和抉择。

第四步：复查。这是解答这类题的最后一步，要求考生解完题之后务必再把文章通读一遍，从整体上准确把握文章的真正意思，及时修改与全文有出入的一些选项。

One day last November, Tom Baker stopped out of his house into the morning light and headed across the rice fields toward the bank of the Rapti River. Tom, a 32-year-old school teacher in the farming village of Madanpur, was going for his morning bath.

I’m a Chinese student studying in Canada. I have been a boarder(寄宿生) with the Carsons for more than a year and a half.

She has been in poor health.” She smiled sadly and added. “To be honest, Andrew and my mother have never got on well. We’ll wait a bit and see what happens. Perhaps Moter will be all right living herself, of perhaps they will both change their minds.”

That was six months ago. During this time I’ve heard that Mrs. Morris has had two illnesses and that her health has got worse. A nursing home was mentioned once but Mrs. Morris refused to go there. So up to now she’s still living alone and I’m still living in the basement room.
